The Ikon Pass was launched in 2018 by Alterra Mountain Company as a game-changing solution for avid skiers and snowboarders looking for a multi-destination pass.
Created to compete with Vail Resorts’ Epic Pass, the Ikon Pass quickly grew in popularity by offering access to a broad network of high-profile resorts across North America and internationally.
Unlike traditional season passes that focused on a single resort, the Ikon Pass gave users the flexibility to explore multiple premier destinations in one season, including smaller independent resorts alongside large, iconic mountains.
