Your Accommodation

Your accommodation, a 4- or 5-star hotel, is centrally located, either in the city center or with direct lift access (the area is relatively small, and everything is within walking distance). Most of the hotels also offer half-board upon request and feature a wellness area for the perfect relaxation after a long day of skiing. All the hotels are very modern and inviting, and they feature the typical alpine charm and friendly service.

Your Transfers

To make your journey as smooth as possible, we offer the option of a private transfer from your chosen airport or train station straight to your accommodation. Prefer to explore on your own? A rental car can easily be arranged as well – just let us know what suits you best.

For travel by plane, it is recommended to land at Innsbruck Airport (100 km away). Other airports are located in: Zurich (approximately 235 km), Munich (approximately 230 km), Salzburg (approximately 250 km).

Your Ski equipment

No need to travel with your gear – we work with the best local rental shops to ensure you get top-quality skis or snowboards (including poles) directly on site. Ski boots and helmets are also available for rent if needed. Just let us know what you need, and we’ll be happy to include the rental equipment in your travel package.

Additional information

Ischgl boasts a compact, walkable village where most hotels, shops, restaurants, and ski lifts are easily accessible on foot. For added convenience, a free ski bus runs regularly through the village and to nearby areas such as Galtür, Kappl, and See. Many hotels include the Silvretta Card, which allows you to use these buses free of charge – a great benefit for your stay.

Beyond skiing, families can enjoy tobogganing on the 7-kilometer-long illuminated night sledding run, available weekly, or visit the Silvretta Spa Ischgl, which offers pools, a family-friendly water park, and wellness options. The village also hosts a festive winter atmosphere with horse-drawn sleigh rides and scenic snowshoe trails.

How to Book

Day 1 :

Arrival at the airport and transfer to Ischgl

After arriving and checking into your hotel, you can start exploring the charming town. There is always something happening, especially thanks to the many après-ski venues and bars. Enjoy your first hours in the mountains and soak in the vibrant atmosphere. In the evening, you can either dine at your hotel if you have booked half-board, or choose from a variety of restaurants offering excellent regional and international cuisine.

Day 2 - 6 :

Skiing

Discover the vast ski area of Ischgl, where nearly 148 miles of well-groomed slopes and 45 state-of-the-art lifts are at your disposal within the Silvretta Arena—one of the largest interconnected ski regions in the Alps. This extensive resort straddles the border between Austria and Switzerland, connecting to Samnaun, and offers a smooth, international skiing experience. Visitors can enjoy a variety of terrain, from wide, leisurely cruisers and steep challenging runs to exciting off-piste adventures.

Historically, traders once secretly transported coffee, sugar, and tobacco between Ischgl and Samnaun. Today, thrill-seekers can follow in their footsteps along three legendary Smuggler’s Routes, which stretch up to 22 miles and feature over 21,000 vertical feet of elevation change. The terrain is particularly well-suited for intermediate and advanced skiers, with long red runs and large freeride zones, though beginners will find dedicated learning areas close to the village.

Lift tickets for the entire Silvretta Arena can be purchased easily. A six-day adult pass generally costs between €350 and €400, depending on the season, with discounts available for children, seniors, and multi-day tickets. While Ischgl is not part of the Epic or Ikon Pass programs, it is included in the Silvretta Ski Pass, which also grants access to nearby resorts such as Galtür, Kappl, and See. Thanks to its high-altitude location and extensive snowmaking facilities, Ischgl offers a reliable snow season from late November through early May—perfect for both early and late-season skiing.
